I love textures and patterns and I love creating backgrounds that express that. This background actually started out much different than you see now. It was created using a font by LaMorte's Fontasia and with much manipulation and experimentation, I happily achieved this burlap effect. If you're curious to see the original background, it is available here. The problem with these textured background is that the text is difficult to read and certainly not easy on your visitors eyes.
